Terms And Conditions
1. Eligibility for the Contest
1.1. The Lucky Draw Contest is only open to participants who reside in either Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, India, The Philippines, Vietnam, or Thailand, and are 18 years of age or older.
1.2. To qualify for the Lucky Draw Contest, participants must complete all categories in the CNET Asia Readers' Choice poll and fill in the relevant personal particulars.
1.3. The Organizer (CBS Interactive Pte. Ltd.) will randomly select the winner from the list of qualified participants. Participants with non-valid and incomplete contact details will be disqualified, at the discretion of the Organizer.
1.4. Employees of CBS Interactive and its affiliated and subsidiary companies, and its advertising/promotion agencies or other firms involved in the design or conduct of this Contest, their sales representatives, distributors, retailers, and members of the household or immediate families are not eligible to participate.
1.5. False and/or deceptive entries or acts shall render participants ineligible.
2. Announcement of Results
2.1. Winners of the "CNET Asia Readers' Choice Contest" will be notified via email. The results of the Lucky Draw will be posted on the Contest Web site and a Singapore newspaper.
2.2. Winners must acknowledge the email notification within 7 days from the date the email is sent by CBS Interactive. Otherwise, the Organizer reserves the right to select another winner.
2.3. By participating in this Lucky Draw, participants hereby agree and consent to having his or her name and partial identification (ID) or passport number published on the Contest Web site and a Singapore newspaper, should he or she become a prize winner.
3. Contest Winners
3.1. Each qualified participant will be entitled to only ONE complete submission.
3.2. Winners cannot win more than one prize.
3.3. A random draw will be conducted on February 27, 2013 at 4pm (GMT+8) within the premises of the Organizer, which is located at 176 Orchard Road, #06-01, Centrepoint, Singapore 238843. Winners must provide personal particulars for verification to collect the prizes.
3.4. The decisions made by CBS Interactive are final and binding in all manners and no appeal shall be entertained for any reason whatsoever.
4. Collection of Prizes
4.1. All winners will be notified on how to claim the prizes after the results are posted. Prizes must be collected within 30 days of notification or it will be forfeited.
4.2. CBS Interactive will not be responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, illegible, damaged or misdirected entries, or for any human or technical errors, failures or malfunctions in the transmission or receipt of Internet entries. Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, and liability and publicity release where permitted within 3 days of notification of winning the prize. In the event of non-compliance with the Terms & Conditions or if the winner cannot be contacted at the email address given on the entry form or the prize is not collected within 30 days of notification to the winner, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner, at the discretion of the Organizer.
4.3. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. The Organizer reserves the right to replace any prize with another item of equivalent specifications without notice. The Organizer accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize values.
4.4. Winners will bear all ancillary costs, such as duties and other taxes, related to the prize.
4.5. By accepting prizes, the winners agree that CBS Interactive, its subsidiary and affiliated companies and their respective advertising, promotion and distribution agencies, hosting media, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees shall have no liability of any kind arising from or in connection with the acceptance, possession or use of the prizes awarded herein and acknowledge that said parties are not in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or law, relative to any prize including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Acceptance of a prize further constitutes permission to use the winners' names and likeness for publicity and advertising purposes worldwide without limitation and without additional compensation (except where prohibited).
4.6. CBS Interactive shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
5. General
5.1. The Organizer reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, cancel or suspend the contest should a virus, bug or other causes beyond the control of the Organizer corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the contest.
5.2. The Organizer makes no warranty, either express or implied, regarding this Web site or any of its content, including but not limited to, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Organizer does not warrant that the content and delivery of this Web site shall be free from errors, bugs or viruses, uninterrupted, or repairable if damaged or impaired.
5.3. All entries become the property of CBS Interactive. By entering the contest, the entrant irrevocably consents to the use of all information contained within the entry for marketing purposes by CBS Interactive. The entrant also irrevocably consents to information contained within the entry being made available to affiliates and authorized business partners of CBS Interactive, which may be outside of Singapore. Demographic and profile data will also be collected and used in the Contest.
5.4. The laws of the Republic of Singapore shall govern the terms and conditions of this Contest.
5.5 CBS Interactive Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to make any changes to the rules & regulations at any time without prior notification.
