Terms and Conditions: ATE FB Milestone Contest

1. Conditions of Entry

1.1 You, (the “Participant”) must login to http://www.facebook.com/wego, or 

http://www.facebook.com/wego.australia or https://www.facebook.com/wego.indonesia with a valid 

personal Facebook account to be eligible to enter the Contest and are bound and agree to the following 

terms and conditions.

1.2 The Participant must make a “comment” in 30 words or less in response to “question”. The winner will 

be selected by Wego based on originality and creativity of their response.

1.3 The Participant may upload a photograph that he/she owns the rights to in addition to responding to 

the question in support of their response, however winners will be selected based on creativity and 

originality, and inclusion of a photograph is not required to be considered for final winner selection. 

1.4 Contest is open to residents of Australia (excluding ACT), and South East Asia who are fans of 

Wego.com, Wego Australia and Wego Indonesia Facebook pages.

1.5 Entering of the contest acknowledges acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1.6 All comments, names and responses following contest entry become the property of Wego and can 

be used in promotional or marketing materials, including press releases, feature articles, and other 

associated media for publicity purposes. 

1.7 Accommodation prize is subject to availability and blackout dates of 15 December 2012 and 10 

January 2013, and 1 July to 31 August 2013, do apply. Accommodation is for six nights for two people at 

the Taman Ahimsa Resort, Jl Pantai Mengening, Desa Cemagi, Badung, Bali, Indonesia. Advance 

reservations are required and vouchers are valid until 30 September 2013.

1.8 A flight contribution amount of SG$1,000 per person, for two people (total SG$2,000) will be awarded 

to the winner and flights must be departing from winners nearest major capital cities that have direct flight 

routes to Denpasar, Bali, as directed and approved by Wego. Transport to and from approved airports of 

departure are at the winners own expense and responsibility. Return flights are available from Sydney, 

Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Darwin, Singapore, Jakarta, and Kuala Lumpur only, unless directed 

otherwise by Wego.

1.9 Promotion begins August 15, 2012, and ends on October 15, 2012, inclusive. Winner will be 

announced October 19, 2012. Decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

1.10 Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

1.11 Winners will be notified by email and must ensure that all contact details are correct. Winners must 

acknowledge receipt to redeem prize, and prize must be taken in full by 30 September 2013.

1.12 If the prize remains unclaimed after one (2) weeks from the date the winner is notified of his/her win,

the prize will be forfeited. Wego reserves the right to select a reserve winner and award the prize to them 

in the event of the disqualification of an initial winner or failure of an initial winner to claim the prize.

2. Employees of Wego, its authorised agencies; contractors and sponsors associated with this contest, 

and immediate family members of all such employees are not eligible to enter. Corporate or other entities 

are also not eligible to participate.

2.1 Participants are permitted to sign up using only one valid Facebook account each. Signups of multiple 

accounts by the same Participant will not be considered valid and will be disqualified. 

2.2 Each Participant warrants that all information, details and particulars submitted by him/her to Wego 

are true, accurate, complete and up to date. Entries that do not meet this requirement will be disqualified 

from the Contest.

2.3 Wego reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant 

for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not deemed in accordance with 

the Terms and Conditions.

2.4 Any racist, pornographic, political and/or harassing content will be immediately disqualified. 

2.5 By entering the Contest, each participant agrees extend to Wego a non-exclusive worldwide royalty 

free right to use, publish or reproduce, for any purpose whatsoever, any content submitted by him or her 

to Wego for the purpose of this Contest, including any photographs, captions or comments submitted.  

Each Participant hereby agrees to waive his or her rights to and refrain from making a demand of or 

pursuing of Wego in relation to any rights related to content submitted by any Participant including any 

photograph, caption or comment submitted. Each Participant also represents and warrants to Wego that 

he or she is the owner of any intellectual property rights that may attach to any content submitted for this 

Contest and has the full legal rights and capacity to enter this Contest on the terms hereof, and warrants 

that Wego shall remain free from interference, complaint or any other demands from a third-party 

regarding the same.

3. Privacy

3.1 Entry into the Contest constitutes agreement for Wego to include Participant being placed on the 

mailing list for Wego and Asia Travel Exclusive Newsletters. 

3.2 By entering the Contest, each Participant consents to the use of their information disclosed to Wego 

for the purpose of notification via public publications (in the event Participant is a winner) and/or any other 

purpose(s) required by the applicable law or regulatory body.

3.3 By entering the Contest, each Participant consents to the public disclosure by Wego of any statement, 

comment or quotation that the Participant may give, and the reproduction, adaptation and translation into 

any language and publication of the same by PT Wego Indonesia.

3.4 Wego may share some or all data about the Participants that Wego possess for Participants, but only 

to the third parties who provide product and services in connection and relevant to the contest.

3.5 All content submitted to the competition can be used by Wego for advertising and promotional 

activities.

5. Liability 

5.1 Wego, it’s authorised agencies, contractors and sponsors, and the directors, officers, employees and 

assignees thereof (individually and collectively the "Organiser") shall not be liable for (1) any claims, 

damages, losses, injury or inconvenience arising out of or in connection with the Contest, any 

participation in the Contest or any prize, including without limitation any loss or disqualification of any 

entry and any delay in, or failure or omission to provide the Contest or any prize or the award thereof to 

any person; (2) any event of force majeure, including without limitation any calamity or conditions, acts of 

God, war or warlike hostilities, civil commotion, riots, blockades, embargoes, sabotages, strikes, fires, 

lockouts, shortages of material or labour, terrorist activity, epidemic, quarantine restrictions, health risk or 

any other occurrence beyond Wego’s reasonable control or that of any authorized agencies, 

contractors  and sponsors; (3) any entries or other communications that have been lost, late, illegible, 

incomplete, tampered with, corrupted, mutilated, misdirected or undelivered for any reason; or (4) any 

defect, failure, interruption, breakdown, malfunction, delay or unavailability of any postal services, 

machine, computer system, hardware, software, data processing system, email account, communications network or transmission link or other cause that in any way prevents or limits any person's ability to 

submit a valid entry to the Contest or receive communications or that causes any damage to any person's 

computer systems.

5.2 The prize winner shall, if required by Wego, execute an affidavit of eligibility, a release of liability and a 

publicity release giving Wego permission to use his/her name, picture, image and voice for publicity 

purposes without compensation. Failure to provide such documentation or to comply with any terms and 

conditions therein shall result in disqualification or ineligibility of prizes.

5.3 Wego is not liable or responsible for any accidents or monetary damage that might occur related to 

the trip.
