To add to the existing festivities, Nikon India brings you ‘Ganesha Photo Utsav’ contest wherein you need to upload an image of Ganesh Utsav celebrations at your home or in your vicinity.

How To Participate

Terms And Conditions

1. A panel of judges from Nikon India will select the final winner from the top 40 most voted contest entries.
2. The photos submitted by participants would be screened before being added to the contest gallery.
3. In order to be eligible the photo being submitted should be owned by the participant.
4. By submitting the photos in the contest the participant is acknowledging that: i) They own the photo, ii) There’s no violation of copyrights whatsoever and iii) The participant is completely accountable for the submitted photo.
5. Image complementing the contest theme and quality of the image would be the criteria for short-listing and for selection of the winners.
6. Photograph should be of minimum 150kb
7. All contest entries are to be submitted through the Contest iframe only. 
8. Entries posted on the wall will not be accepted.
9. The photo description, ie. Information about when and where the photo was taken should be limited to 200 characters only.
10. Image should not contain any watermark, website address, logo, trademark or e-mail id on it. Tampered, morphed, graphically enhanced images will be disqualified.
11. Participants can submit multiple entries but short-listing will be solely at the discretion of Nikon India Pvt. Ltd.
12. Photo entries will be accepted from 19th September to 29th September 2012 only.
13. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced, objectionable or corrupt entries will not be considered.
14. The announcement of the winners will be made via the contest i-Frame.
15. A panel of judges from Nikon India will select the final winner from the top 40 most voted contest entries.
16. Final winner will be selected and announced at the sole discretion of Nikon India Pvt. Ltd. by the end of October 2012.
17. All prizes/awards/titles are non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
18. The gratification to the winners will be decided by and will be delivered to the winner within 30 days after the winner is announced and the contest is closed, provided all the personal details asked for are submitted fully and correctly. 
19. The winner shall not have any rights to claim, loss or costs from Nikon India Pvt. Ltd. for delay in delivery of the Prize on any grounds whatsoever.
20. Nikon India Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify, cancel, extend or discontinue the contest rules or any part thereof at any time without prior notification.
21. Nikon India Pvt. Ltd. won’t be liable for the warranty and service of the gift/prize items given as gratification.
22. Winners may be asked to collect his gift from any nearby Nikon India Pvt. Ltd. Or its associate’s premises. He/She could be asked for national identity proof documents and Nikon India reserves the right to take photo of the winner while felicitating the gratification and use it in its various objectives.
23. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Any information provided by a participant will be used by Nikon India Pvt. Ltd. and not Facebook.
24. This Program is subject to force majeure conditions that are beyond the control of Nikon India Pvt. Ltd. Eligibility criteria  for participation in the Program:

The Program shall be applicable for individuals who are:                             

 i.    Residents of India,                           

 ii.    Above the age of 18 (Eighteen) years of age

The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Program:                         

i.    Employees of Nikon India Pvt.Ltd.                         

ii.    Employees & affiliates of the campaign management firm.

Participation in this Program shall be construed as an acceptance of the Terms and Conditions stipulated herein and of any rules and regulations already announced.
