Terms And Conditions.
1.    The Pepsi ICC World T20 –Pepsi Cricket Shrine Contest (“Contest”) is brought to you by PepsiCo India Holdings Private Limited (“Organizer”).

2.    Contest is open to all Indian citizens residing in India above 18 years of age except the employees and the family members of the Organizer, its associate companies, its advertising and promotional agencies and their associate companies (“Users”).

3.    Contest is valid from 00:00 hours on September 16, 2012 to 11:59 pm on September 22, 2012 (“Contest Period”), both dates inclusive, in India only.

4.    To participate in the Contest the User has to log on to ‘Pepsi India’ fanpage on Facebook.

5.    Users will have to grant permission to the application to play the Contest

6.    Users can  participate in the Contest as many times as possible during the duration of the Contest to improve chances of winning.

7.    Two winners will get the chance to fly to Sri Lanka and watch a ICC T20 World Cup 2012 Match from the special Pepsi Dug Out (‘Pepsi’).


8.    The winners will be selected basis the following criteria (‘Judging Criteria’):
(i)           50% weightage will be given to the person with the most likes on Facebook.
(ii)          50% weightage will be given to the marks given by independent panel of judges.

9.    The first winner will be selected on September 20, 2012 and the second winner will be selected on September 22, 2012.
10. The winners will get to fly to Sri Lanka and watch an ICC T20 World Cup 2012 Match from the special Pepsi Dug Out. In case of a tie a randomizer software will be used to select the final winner.

12. Winners will be announced within 5 days of the Contest closure

13. The winner will be contacted by the representatives of the Organizer on the contact number shared at the time of registration on Facebook. The winner would be contacted thrice over a period of 48 hrs. In case the winner is not reachable or the Prize cannot be redeemed by him for any reason whatsoever, the Organizer will reserve the right to pass on the Grand Prize to another participant without any further notice to the winner.

14. The winner will be required to furnish the complete name, address and phone number and such other information/details as may be asked by the call centre executive.

15. The choice of the match is at the sole discretion of the Organizers.

16. The Organizers or their representatives will contact the winner at the contact number given by him and verify the claim before redeeming the prize. Award of prizes is subject to the verification by the Organizer. After verification the winner will be informed of the entire process of redemption of the Prize.

17. The ticket for the match and the Dug Out will be handed over to the winner on the day of the match.

18. All costs relating to travel from the winner’s place of residence, boarding and lodging (Organizer’s choice of hotel shall be final) for 2 day and 1 night, food, and ticket of one match of ICC World Cup 2012 for the winner will be borne by the Organizers. All other expenses not expressly included above will not be borne by the Organizers or any other agency on Organizer’s behalf, and will be the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

19. The winners will have to arrange the passport and visa on their own and at their own cost. These documents must be ready with the winner at least 10 days before the scheduled date of the departure.

20. Organizer’s assume no responsibility in the event of non-availability of passport and visa and reserve the right to pass on the prize to next winner with valid documents or forfeit thePrize in its entirety.

21. Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of this trip for which the winners will be required to sign an indemnity in favour of Organizers.

22. If any Winner fails to take the trip when specified by the Organizer the Prize will be forfeited in its entirety without any notice/intimation to the winner.

23. The Organizers shall not be liable for any cancellations and/or delays in the train/flights/cars arranged for the winner due to any reason including but not limited to force majeure, logistical problems at the airports/railway stations/roads etc. and the winner shall not have any claim against Organizers for the same and shall be deemed to have availed of his/her prize. Organizers shall not be responsible for any such eventuality and the winner undertakes not to claim any compensation from Organizers for the same.

24. Dates when the winner may redeem his/her prize are entirely at the discretion of Organizers. Organizers are not responsible if the Matches at the ICC T20 World Cup 2012 gets cancelled or postponed. In such cases, the Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and no substitution will be provided.

25. No Food or Alcohol is permitted at the Dug – Out area.

26. No Cameras or Mobile Phone are permitted in the Dug – Out area.

27. The winner will have to confine himself to a designated area. At no time should he  venture out without prior permission of the organizers. The Organizers may apply further conditions regarding the do’s and don’ts for the designated area.

28. The pictures of prizes depicted on the press ads/posters/ TVC’s, packs etc. are only representative and the actual prizes may vary from the depictions.

29. Decision of Organizer’s will be final and binding with regard to promotion and prizes and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

30. Notification of the winner status must be kept confidential until the Winners are publicly revealed by the Organizer or the winner’s prize will be forfeited.

31. At the Organizer's request, winners must participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Organizer using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in promotional material or in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Programme (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Organizer.

32. The Organizer reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and Indian residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Organizer.

33. The prizes are personal to the winners and are not transferrable and cannot be sold under any circumstances.

34. No cash payment will be made in lieu of the prize.

35. As a condition of accepting the prize, winners may be required to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Organizer and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.

36. The Organizers accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Winners will have to bear incidental costs, if any, that may arise for redemption of the prize.

37. Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of the Promotion or due to participation by any person in the Promotion.

38. Organizer shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to Act of God, Governmental actions, other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any such loss.

39. All taxes/levies and charges on prizes will be the responsibility of the winner. Taxes as applicable will be deducted at the source for all prizes or shall be deposited in advance by the winner and produce proof before claiming the prize.

40. All disputes relating to this Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at New Delhi only.
