 By entering the contest participants agree that they have read, understood and accepted these 

Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

 The participant agrees that by participating in the contest all applicable terms and conditions of 

Facebook and of General Mills India Pvt Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “General Mills”) would be 

binding on him/her.

 The participant agrees that the personal and/or private information and data of the participant 

may be shared in such manner as the features of the contest may require. The participant 

hereby agrees that the participant shall not have any claims in this regard and expressly waives 

any such claim. The foregoing shall be notwithstanding anything contained in the Privacy Policy 

of Facebook or any other agreement or terms agreed by the participant with Facebook.

 The participant agrees that he/she is participating in the contest at his/her sole risk and agrees 

to all the features and applications which form part of the contest.

 General Mills is the owner of this webpage, thereby of this contest running on the webpage.

 This contest is open to all Permanent Indian Residents of 13 years of age and older. Employees 

of General Mills, its subsidiaries, their affiliates & their immediate families are not eligible to 

participate in this contest.

Entering the Contest

 The contest will be held from 13th September to 12th October.

 To be eligible for the prize participants will be required to participate via an application on the 

Haagen-Dazs India facebook page.

 Participants are expected to unscramble images given to them in the shortest possible time & 

also answer a simple question as per the instructions given.

 One participant will be allowed to play the game only once per day.

 Three participants will be chosen as the weekly winners based on the time taken to solve the 

puzzle & the answers given. The weekly winners will get one gift voucher each.

 One participant will be chosen as the grand prize winner based on the time taken to solve the 

puzzle & the answer given. The grand prize winner will get an iPad.

 Users will have to enter their names & email id so that we can get in touch with them in case 

they win.

 Incomplete entries or incorrectly put information will be deemed void and invalid.

Winning vouchers in the contest

 A person can win a maximum of one voucher. If a winner’s name is drawn twice, one of the 

winning entries will be forfeited and another winner will be drawn. 

 Winners will be notified by e-mail about the date, time & venue where they can collect their 

vouchers. If the winner cannot be contacted, or does not claim the voucher within [72 hours] from the date of draw, such vouchers shall be deemed forfeited by the winner and General Mills

may give it to any other participant as per its discretion.

 Vouchers cannot be converted into cash or exchanged for any other prize(s). 

 No responsibility will be taken by General Mills for late, lost, misdirected entries or entries not 

received for any reason.

 General Mills reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity to claim the 

prize.

 In the event of any violation to the aforementioned or in case it comes to the knowledge of 

General Mills that the details submitted by the applicant in the application are not correct, the 

applicant shall immediately be disqualified from being considered to be a participant for the 

contest and shall solely remain liable for any action arising there from.

 Unless otherwise specified, all ancillary costs/taxes, if any, are the winner’s responsibility.

 General Mills reserves the right to decide the voucher given and participants shall not have a 

right to ask for specific vouchers of their choice.

 General Mills’s decision on all matters in relation to this contest is final. No further 

correspondence or appeal will be entertained.

 General Mills shall have the sole discretion to discontinue/cancel the contest at any point of 

time and the participant shall not raise any claim due to such discontinuation or cancellation.

 The participant grants irrevocable license to General Mills to exploit, display, market the entries 

uploaded on Haagen-Dazs India’s Facebook page.

 The participation in the contest and the content shared by the participant shall not be obscene, 

vulgar, have racial or religious connotations. The  participant represents, warrants and agrees 

that no picture/s or details of any kind uploaded will violate or infringe upon the rights of any 

third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary 

rights; or contain libelous, defamatory or otherwise unlawful material and the participant shall 

indemnify and hold  General Mills, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their directors, 

officers, agents, contractors, partners and employees, harmless from and against any loss, 

liability, claim, demand, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, 

arising out of or in connection with his/her entry.

 The applicant hereby agrees to indemnify General Mills against any claims that might arise from 

their actions or omissions or arising from any representations, misrepresentations or 

concealment of material facts.
