The web page of "The Mahindra Scooters Quiz" (Contest) on Facebook is open to all new and existing Facebook Fans of Mahindra Scooters.
Officers and employees of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Mahindra Two Wheelers ltd. and all agencies associated with this brand, and their respective immediate family members (parents, brothers/sisters, spouse, and children) are ineligible to enter this contest.
The quiz will last for a period of three weeks and end on November 7, 2012. Each week a new set of 10 questions will be released for fans, in the Mahindra Scooters Quiz contest.
Answering each question correctly will earn the participant one (1) point. Mahindra Scooters will choose three (3) fans, who answer all (or most) questions correctly, as winners every week. If there are more than 3 fans who answer all the questions correctly then Mahindra Scooters will select the lucky winners at its own discretion. Mahindra Scooters decision in this regard shall be final.
Each fan can participate in this contest as many times as he wishes to.
Prizes for the Mahindra Scooters Quiz areas follow: First (1st) Prize - 3 iPod shuffles, 1 every week. Second (2nd) prize– 3 pairs of branded sunglasses, 1 every week. Third (3rd) prize – 3 Jackets, 1 every week. Please note: Mahindra Scooters will announce the winners separately on a different Facebook tab on its page.
The contest winners will receive their prizes from Mahindra Scooters within thirty (30) working days.
Mahindra Scooters shall not be responsible for any defects or shortcomings in the contest prize or any damage to it during transit.
It is the participant's responsibility to ensure that a valid name, email address, phone number and all the other contact details required by Mahindra Scooters is provided correctly. As a result of any erroneous or invalid contact details as mentioned above, Mahindra Scooters will not be responsible for any failure or delay in the delivery of the contest prizes.
If a participant has won the contest but does not wish to claim his/her prize or wishes to alter any portion of the prize, Mahindra Scooters will not be liable to refund or alter the whole or any part of that prize. Under no circumstances can any portion of the contest prizes be converted into cash whether by way of refund or any other means whatsoever.
The contest prize will not be transferred or sold and shall be exclusively used by the winner.
Mahindra Scooters is not responsible to the participant or to any other party for compensation as a result of the above-mentioned actions or any other breach of these terms and conditions.
The participant expressly agrees that by his/her participation in the contest, Mahindra Scooters may use the information collected from the participant, in any media or future promotional, publicity and marketing material, without any notice, payment or other compensation to the participant which might be applicable to privacy and data protection laws. Each participant's personal information can be disclosed to governmental or regulatory bodies.
By participating in this contest, each participant has to mandatorily acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions mentioned here along with other terms and conditions related to the contest as communicated to the participant from time to time.
Mahindra Scooters shall not be responsible for any late, misdirected, lost or unsuccessful efforts to notify the participant, as a consequence of telephone or internet service delays, interruptions, failures or overloads and shall in no event be responsible for any act, omission, failure or delay arising from, but not limited to, acts of God, riots, acts of terrorism, labour or industrial dispute, strike, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Mahindra Scooters.
Each participant agrees that Mahindra Scooters is not responsible or liable for any costs, damages, claims, demands or liabilities incurred by him/her while participating in the contest, including (but not limited to) injury or damage to the participant and/or his/her property.
Mahindra Scooters, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective officers, directors and employees, will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage of any kind as a result of the participant's participation in the contest and/or availing the contest prizes. This includes, without limitation, personal injury, death and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy, subject to the applicable privacy and data protection laws.
Mahindra Scooters, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this contest, from time to time and/or cancel this contest without any prior notice.
The decision of Mahindra Scooters on all matters, queries or disputes, concerning the contest and its terms and conditions shall be final.
All disputes arising out of or related to the contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai and subject to the laws of India.
