This Contest titled as "Go Green Diwali"is subject to the following terms & conditions ("T&C"), which may be updated by TIL (as defined below) from time to time without any prior notice to Contestant (as defined below). a) "Contest": - means this contest titled as "Go Green Diwali"for the fans of Times of India Facebook page and opt for participating in the contest b) "Contestant":- shall mean the fans of Times of India Facebook page, who is eligible to participate in the Contest and chooses to participate in the Contest. d) "Judges": means the panel of judges appointed by TIL in its sole discretion, who shall have final authority to declare the winners of the Contest. The decision of Judges shall be final and binding on the Contestant. h) "Territory": - shall mean "India" i)"Subscriber":- shall mean the subscriber of Times of India Facebook page. j) "TIL" :- shallmean Times Internet Limited, a company registered under the Indian Companies Act 1956, and having its registered address at 10, Darya Ganj, New Delhi-110002 and corporate office at MPD Tower, DLFCity, Phase-V, Opp DLF Golf Course, Gurgaon, Haryana - 122 002 managing this Contest. k)"Winner":- shall mean the Contestant/s,who are declared as winner/s of the Contest.
2. Eligibility
a) This Content is valid in the Territory solely for the Subscriber(s) who are Indian citizens entitled to enter into any contract and are aged 18 years and above; However, Contestants below 18 years of age may participate in the Contest through parents or guardian. b) Neither the employees of TIL nor the family members, relatives of employees, distributors, franchisees, agents and suppliers of TIL shall be eligible to participate in the Contest. Any such entry, even if successful, would be inadmissible for the purpose of this Contest. d) The gratification/s ("Gratification") for the Contest will be given only to the subscribed winner/s.
4. Contest Duration:-
Contest shall start on will start from 8th November 2012 at 12 noon and will conclude on 13thNovember 2012 at 12 midnight("Contest Period"). TIL reserves the right to extend or shorten the Contest Period at its sole discretion for any further duration.
6. Participation andFeatures of the Contest

Entries shall be short listed on the basis of answers to the subjective question(s) submitted by the Contestant. e. Jury(s) appointed by TIL shall adjudged as "best answer"; which shall be declared as the winning answer. Any decision of jury(s) shall be final and binding. f. Contestant who sent the winning answer shall be declared as Winner. g. Contestant understands that mere participation in the contest does not entitle the Contestant to win the prize. h. Contestant cannot post multiple entries and in case he/she posts multiple entry, any post made after the first entry shall be disregarded. One entry may win maximum one prize. i. Incomplete entry shall not be entertained and shall stand disqualified without any intimation. j. The Winners will be informed through Tab announcement or through their email address. k. The decision of the external jury(s) shall be final and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
Prizes a) Prize for this contest is Samsung Galaxy Note and IPOD fourth generation touch 8GB.b) In case, the aforesaid prize is not available, any gift/ cash of the equivalent value will be given.c) TIL also reserves the rights to change the prize at any time during the contest, in case the mentioned item / product is not available in the market but at the same time TIL will ensure that the winner gets other / alternate prize worth the winning amount. d) In the event the selected winner(s) does not provide the relevant documents (such as PAN CARD) as required by TIL, within a period of sixty (60) days of receipt of intimation with regards to the same. In case of non receipt of details within 5 hour/days, TIL may, at its sole discretion, cancel the entitlement of the said winner. e) TIL expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Neither does TIL make any warranty that the items / products made available under the Service will meet your requirements, or the delivery of the item / product will be timely, secure, nor is TIL responsible for any damages done in transit. f) All / any government taxes on prizes (as applicable), shall be borne by the winner(s) and all deductions (such as TDS), wherever applicable, shall be made by TIL in accordance with section 194 B of the Income Tax Act, 1961. g) The prize shall be subject to such other terms and conditions as may be applicable to specific prize(s) and shall have to be duly complied with by the winner(s). h) The prize(s) to the winner shall be given subject to (a) the compliance with all applicable statutory legislations / processes / formalities in connection with the prize(s); (b) on payment of all relevant government taxes / levies; (c) on production all such documents / papers as required by TIL before accepting the delivery of the prize (such as PAN CARD). a. All applicable taxes/duties/levies including service tax or other applicable taxes on winning the Gratification/s. All deductions (such as TDS), withholding tax, transfer fee, insurance, regulatory and statutory duties, cess, surcharges, taxes (including TDS), registration fees etc. that may be applicable to avail/use the Gratification/s will be borne exclusively by the winner. b.
