Snickers Hunger Moments: Terms and Conditions
1. To use the Snickers Hunger Moments badge app, the user will have to log onto a Facebook page of Snickers India on the URL: https://www.facebook.com/SnickersIndia
2. Open to legal residents of India with valid e-mail id address. Employees of SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) and their immediate family members (Parents, spouse, siblings and children) are not eligible to participate. Employees, officers and directors of partner agencies, trade partners and their immediate families (spouse, children, parents, siblings, regardless of where they live) and persons living in the same household of such employees/officers/directors, whether related or not, are not eligible.
3. Participation is voluntary and no purchase or entry fee is required for the same.
4. Offer is valid in the territory of India.
5. SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) reserves the right to modify or change all or any of the rules applicable to this contest.
6. Contest begins on 24th December, 2012 & ends on 15th January 2013 midnight (hereinafter referred as contest duration). Entry Time shall be based on Indian Standard Time (IST) when submitted.
7. SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) reserves the right to extend/ reduce/ suspend the deadline for participation.
8. SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) shall not responsible for the slow internet connection or stoppage of bytes during the log-in session. It is the User's sole discretion to use dial-up or broadband connection.
9. By entering the contest, you agree that your personal information/data will be collected by SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated). Entries are the property of SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated). Proof of submission of entry does not constitute proof of receipt of same. In the event of a dispute as to identity of entrant, the entry will be deemed made by the registered owner of the e-mail address and, potential winner may be required to furnish proof of being the registered owner of the e-mail address/phone number.
10. Data Protection / Privacy Policy: Information collected by SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) in connection with these Contest may be used by SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated). The entrant agrees to the collection, processing and storage of his/her personal data by SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) for purposes of the Contest. Participants are advised to view SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) privacy policy for more details.
11. The winners will be selected randomly once the contest gets over. Participant can participate on any day during the contest duration.
12. The final decision for the winner lies at the sole discretion of SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated). No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
13. Winners will be notified via Facebook page of Snickers India. Winners will be required to share their contact details in order to claim the prize.
14. Prize Details of Snickers Hunger Moments app: Box of Snickers, Snickers Miniatures and Snickers Minis.
The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred or transferred.
The prize will be dispatched to the respective winners via courier.
15. The winners will be required to furnish valid, government-issued photo identification within 15 days once the result is declared. If these documents are not returned within the time specified, or if notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if the potential Winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner will not be selected. Potential winner will be notified by phone and/or e-mail after the declaration of results. SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) shall not be responsible for any un-used phone or e-mail address which may prevent the winner from being contacted by SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) and in such an event, SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever. By their entry, participants are agreeing to these Official Rules and that the decisions of the judges and SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) are final and binding in all respects.
16. If, for any reason, the Contest (in whole or in part) is not capable of running by reason of damage by computer virus, worms, fraud, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical or system limitations or failures, "Acts of God" or terrorist attacks, hacking, or any other causes which prevents the participant to participate in this contest, SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) shall not be responsible for the same. SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) and its agencies are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, invalid, corrupted or garbled entries, all of which are void. SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) and its agencies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or jumbled, scrambled transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, or unauthorized access to the website or program/programming error or failure, or failure to capture any entry information. SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) and its agencies are not responsible for injury or damage to entrants' or to any other person's computer, other equipment, or person relating to or resulting from participation in the contest, or from downloading materials or accessing the Web site.
17. Winners will receive their prize within 60 days, from the contest end date. SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) assumes no responsibility for any delays or damages to the prize by Courier or the same is received back undelivered due to any wrong or incomplete address filled up by the participant while filling up the contest form details.
18. Prizes are not transferable and no cash payment in lieu of the prizes will be made.
19. SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) shall not be responsible for any loss or damage, if it has to discontinue or cancel this Contest in compliance with any law, ruling, order, regulation, requirement or instruction of any Central/State Government, or for any other unavoidable reason beyond their control. Participants shall be informed of such discontinuance/cancellation as soon as possible.
20. All disputes relating to this contest will be addressed under Courts of New Delhi jurisdiction only.
21. SNICKERS® (Mars, Incorporated) is not responsible for participants not being able to understand the contest mechanics, or their misinterpretation of the same.
22. By entering in this contest user agrees to these terms and conditions.
