How To Participate

Participate in any of the 4 mentioned ways:

2) E-mail 3 best home pictures to the E-mail ID provided at the store OR
3) Drop the pictures at the nearest Big Bazaar Store OR
4) * Request Big Bazaar Customer service desk to send photographer to your home.

Terms And Conditions

1. By participating in this contest, you are hereby certifying that the photograph/s (the "Material") submitted by you as part of this contest are of your own home and do not constitute pictures belonging to any publisher whether online or offline. In case of any dispute at any time in future by any person with regard to the Material, you shall be entirely responsible for any and all consequences, including any legal action, process, liability, civil or criminal arising in connection with or out of such dispute.
2. You accept & confirm that Future Value Retail Limited, its Affiliates, Directors, employees, agents, associates and sponsors shall be fully indemnified by you from any and all liabilities or dispute arising out of the Material and/or other information/documents submitted or any commitment/promise made by you under this contest.
3. You will be liable to automatically being disqualified from the contest (1) if it is known that the Material submitted by you is not original (2) or is made up by any creative work (3) or contest participating form submitted by you is incomplete/ incorrect in nature. Such disqualification shall be final and binding and that you agree that you shall have no legal right to challenge such disqualification in any Court or Tribunal or any other dispute resolution forum or otherwise.
4. You certify that all information/documents provided by you are correct and accurate and authentic. If any inaccuracy in the information/document provided by you is detected any time, you will not only be disqualified from the contest but also become liable for appropriate legal and/or other action against you.
5. You accept and confirm that Future Value Retail Limited, its affiliates, agents, associates and sponsors will not be liable or responsible for any dispute or legal action arising from Material that you submit and which may possibly be reproduced & publicly displayed by them or by the agencies associated with the contest, whether in print, audio-visual or digital form.
6. The Material and related information / documents submitted by you automatically become perpetual exclusive property of Future Value Retail Limited and you shall not demand any of them for any purpose in future. You hereby transfer all the rights, title and property in the Material and other information / documents submitted by you as part of this contest.
7. You accept and confirm that Future Value Retail limited shall be free to reproduce, print, reprint and publicly display or use the Material in any form; print, audio-visual and/or digital, at any point in time without obtaining any written consent from you, without any monetary or other compensation to you or assigning any credit for the material to you. You also accept and confirm that in case of any dispute in future regarding originality or ownership of the material, you alone will be responsible for any and all consequences, including any legal action, process, liability, civil or criminal arising out of such dispute.
8. By you agreeing to participate in the contest, the copyright in the Material shall automatically stand assigned for the entire term of the copyright throughout the world in favor of Future Value Retail Limited and for the purpose, you hereby agree to forthwith execute the required assignment agreement, document or deed to fulfill legal requirements, if necessary, without any monetary/non-monetary compensation/consideration from Future Value Retail Limited.
9. The decision of Future Value Retail Limited and the panel of judges appointed by them for the contest shall be final and binding in all respects and you hereby agree and confirm that you shall not dispute to any decision taken with respect to the winner(s) of this contest.
10. You accept and confirm that Future Value Retail Limited shall be entitled and having sole discretion to modify, amend, cancel, defer or postpone this contest at any stage for any reason. You shall accept the decision of Future Value Retail Limited in this regard and not raise any dispute in connection with the same. You shall also agree and confirm that Future Value Retail Limited shall be entitled and under its sole discretion, at any stage, to change the prizes initially announced for winners, if any and you shall not raise any dispute in this matter.
11. All tax and/ or other liabilities imposed by any authority under any law during the period of this contest or there after on any benefits, award and/or prize money received by the participants, finalists and/or winners shall entirely be their own liability and Future Value Retail Limited, its affiliates, agents, associates or sponsors will in no way be liable or responsible for the same any time in future.
12. This offer is applicable only on transactions/purchases of INR 300/- & above made under Big Bazaar format of Future Value Retail Limited between 22nd December 2012 to 1st January 2013 (inclusive both days).
13. All participants & the winner will need to retain, carry & submit the bill to BIG BAZAAR on the competition announcement days.

15. Contestants must have a valid bill of over Rs. 300/- on their name, for purchases made in the contest period (22nd December 2012 and 1st January 2013) to be eligible for the contest prize/s.
16. In case the winners do not acknowledge the communication (call or email) from Future Value Retail Limited informing the winner within a reasonable time as decided in sole discretion by Future Value Retail Limited then in such circumstances the winner may be deemed, in Future Value Retail Limited’s sole discretion, to have forfeited his/her winning prize. Future Value Retail Limited reserves the right to reallocate/transfer the winner prize to another runner up participant or otherwise as per the sole discretion of the Future Value Retail Limited.
17. The transaction bill shall not be transferable for the purpose of participation in the contest.
18. The registration in the contest is non transferable.
19. Only citizens of India, permanently residing in India, and above the age of 18 years as on the date of the booking/purchase transaction, are eligible to participate in the contest.
20. All matters of disputes and right to entertain them will be at the sole discretion of Future Value Retail Limited & the organizer of the contest and Future Value Retail Limited will not afterwards entertain any dispute/challenge or any kind of query raised by participants/contestants or otherwise.
21. This contest will be run in selected cities across India as decided in sole discretion of Future Value Retail Limited and the contestant/ participant shall not raise any kind of dispute on the selected location any time during the contest period or afterwards.
22. Following persons are not eligible to participate in the contest:
    • Employees of Future Value Retail Limited/Future Group.
    • Various associates related to Future Group
