  1. Acceptance of conditions
    Information regarding prizes and the method of participation form part of these terms and conditions. By participating in this Contest, Participants accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Procter & Gamble Home Products Limited ("P&G") is conducting a contest called 'Promise to Please'
  3. Participation will be through the Facebook tab dedicated for this contest. People can participate by hitting like on the tab page.
  4. Through this contest, participants stand a chance to win a trip to Paris, or an IPhone 5s, or a Gillette Phantom Razor.
  5. There is one Grand prize of a trip to Paris to be won.
  6. One IPhone 5 s to be won every day.
  7. There are 1000 Gillette Phantom razors to be won.
  8. By submitting your answers you are entitling Gillette India to use the submission across properties like print, facebook wall, galleries on facebook. Gillette India reserves all rights to change, modify or alter these terms and conditions at any point of time with or without notifying existing users and subscribers. These Terms & Conditions constitute the comprehensive terms and conditions of the Contest and all Participants are bound to comply with the guidelines, requirements etc. contained therein. Any non compliance with the same may disqualify the Participants from participating in the Contest. P&G reserves the right to alter these T&C without any further notice as P&G may deem fit in its sole and absolute discretion. No communications/correspondences will be entertained by P&G on account of the aforementioned alterations/ modifications or otherwise.
  9. P&G reserves the right to substitute any Prize with prize(s) of comparable value. The Prize shall be subject to the terms & conditions of the Company by whom the gift voucher is issued and the Winner agrees to agree to the same.
  10. This activity is open for participation to only adult’s residents of India, who are above the age of 18 years on the date of participating in this Contest.
  11. The contest would be open from 24thth Dec 2013 to 31st Dec 2013. P&G may in its absolute discretion curtail or extend the activity Period, as it deems necessary.
  12. By participating in this Contest, Participant unconditionally and irrevocably accepts and agrees to be bound by all these T&C as stated herein. This activity is subject to the laws of India, and is not offered outside of India.
  13. The winning entries will be shortlisted once the contest is over.
  14. The selected winning entrants’ names will be displayed on a ‘Winners Wall’ post. Winners need to send in their details as requested in the Winners Wall Post to the email ID mentioned within 10 days.
  15. P&G and its agents shall be licensed to evaluate all submissions for the purposes of this Contest, including verification and as specified in these terms and conditions.
  16. P&G shall not be liable for any consequences of Participant error including (without limitation) providing incorrect contact details & identity proof.
  17. The prizes are non-transferable, not for sale or resale and cannot be redeemed in whole or part for cash.
  18. The participant may be required to sign a form of legal release to be determined by P&G in its absolute discretion. The prizes would be handed over to the participant on proper identification and verification. Where passport is the requisite proof of identification and the same is not furnished to P&G then the Prize will lapse. No claims/communication /correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
  19. P&G may in its absolute discretion substitute the Prize with any another item or cash, it deems to be an appropriate replacement which shall not be challenged by the Participants/ Winner in any manner.
  20. P&G shall not be liable for any defect or deficiency in the prizes. By accepting these T&C, the Participant acknowledges that the hamper are provided on “as is basis” and the Participant agrees not to make any claim against P&G in respect of the prizes.
  21. In the event where any Participant becomes the Winner of the Contest, such Participant also undertakes to do any and/or all acts, deeds, matter or things and further execute any and all documents in such manner and at such locations as may be required by P&G in its sole and absolute discretion.
  22. P&G, its agents and distributors under no circumstances would be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for inability of the Winner to receive the Prize for any reasons attributable to the non compliance of the Terms & Conditions by the Winner and / or non compliance of the requirements laid down by P&G.
  23. P&G accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected submissions made by the Participant whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure, virus attack, unauthorised data hacking, data corruption, software or hardware failure or any other cause whatsoever.
  24. P&G may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any Participant, and prohibit further participation in this Contest by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the process or with the operation of this Contest or acts in violation of these terms and conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
  25. A Participant shall be deemed to have notice of any such amendments or interpretations upon publication of the same on the Facebook Website and shall be deemed to have accepted such amendments or interpretations by virtue of her continued participation in this Contest. Should a Participant not wish to continue to participate in this Contest pursuant to the prevailing terms and conditions as amended or interpreted, he/she may terminate participation in this Contest upon written notice to P&G.
  26. P&G reserves the right to open the Contest through other media including but not limited to TV, print, other electronic media (e.g. Facebook ,Twitter).
  27. All the submissions by the Participants/Winner shall become the property of P&G, who may use Participants' Personal Identifiable Information (“PII”) and / or other submissions for future promotional and marketing activities of P&G and its Group/Associate Companies.
  28. If for any reason any aspect of this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of P&G which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, P&G may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest, or invalidate any affected submissions and the Participants shall not hold P&G liable for the same.
  29. P&G will not be liable for any loss, damage or cancellation of this Contest caused by events beyond their reasonable control including war, natural calamities, floods, etc.
  30. P&G and its respective Group /Associate companies and agencies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, incidental, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this Contest or the acceptance or use of any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  31. Participants may not modify copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, products or services obtained.
  32. Participants may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through the Site any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable, or which may constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law.
  33. The decision of P&G in general with respect to the Contest and the Terms & Conditions thereto shall be final and binding on all the Participant(s) and no communication shall be entertained in this regard at any time.

  35. Any disputes arising on the Contest would be subject to jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai only
  36. In no event shall P&G be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, exemplary or consequential, damages, or any damages whatsoever, even if P&G has been previously advised of the possibility of such damages, whether in an action under contract, negligence, or any other theory, arising out of or in connection with the use, inability to use, or performance of the information, services, products, and materials available from this site. These limitations shall apply notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitations may not apply to you.
