Terms and Conditions

• The sponsor of this activity/program ("Voting Program") is CROMA, INFINITI RETAIL LIMITED (A TATA Enterprise) (hereinafter referred to as "IRL")having its office at 201, Akruti Centre Point, MIDC, Andheri East, Mumbai 400093.
• This program is to award products by brand(s) based on preference/voting of general public with regards to their electronic products by giving the general public who visits Croma stores or www.cromaawards.com a chance to vote for their favourite products through a voting and this program called as 'Croma Consumer Choice Award' / 'Program'.
• Anybody who participates in voting under this Program, would be referred as 'the Participant'.
• This is voluntary voting activity to be conducted on IRL's web page hosted on Facebook, www.cromaawards.com; www.cromaawards.com/stores and/or through pen and paper voting process organized at Croma stores during the months of October, November and December 2013.
• IRL shall choose certain winners who would have voted and given their valid detail to be contacted, as winners randomly and such winners would be given gifts for participation in this Program and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the said Voting Program and certain other criteria as may be set by IRL at its sole discretion.
• By participating in this Program Participant fully agrees with these Terms & Conditions and/or any amendment hereto which might be done by IRL at its sole discretion without any prior notice and/or intimation to anybody.
• Participant may vote for the best electronic product across 15 different categories by vising web page at www.cromaawards.com on the internet or www.cromaawards.com/stores from any of the physical Croma stores or through pen and paper voting process organized at the Croma stores or Croma's Facebook fanpage at www.facebook.com/CromaRetail.
• Incase of voting from the internet, participant will receive an authentication link via email that he will have to click in order to be eligible for the raffle.
• Participant can vote for a particular category only once. However, those participants voting from the internet, store or Facebook can vote for any remaining categories left out previously by using the same email id as used before.
• At the end of the Program winners for the raffle will be selected randomly and the names of the winners would be announced on internet on web at www.facebook.com/CromaRetail up to 31st Dec, 2013..
• Any form of multiple voting done by a single user using different mail ids will be considered as cheating and may lead to disqualification of Participant.
• The entire process under this Program will be validated by an assurance and consulting firm, PKF Consulting Pvt. Ltd. and results regarding the winning gadgets will be published on web on www.facebook.com/Croma Retail for a limited period of 15 days from the date of announcement of such winners.
• For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the Participant participating in this Program hereby grants to IRL the absolute, nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, perpetual right, license and permission to publish, copy, post, distribute, reproduce, display and/or otherwise use the information/detail/picture for and in connection with this Program, together with Participant's name, alone or in conjunction with any other printed, sound, digital and/or other matter, for promotional and/or public relations purposes, on IRL's page on www.facebook.com, including but not limited to all sections and tabs thereof and/or any and all other digital media, including but not limited to, IRL's social media properties (e.g., Twitter, YouTube, Google Plus).
• Any false information provided by any Participant with regard to identity of Participant, telephone number, email address, ownership of rights or non-compliance with the terms and conditions as mentioned herein may result in the immediate elimination of Participant from this Program. Participant shall be required to produce his/her original identity proof on demand raised by IRL.
• The employees of IRL shall not be eligible to participate in this Program.
• Participant agrees and gives unconditional and irrevocable rights to IRL to use his detail/picture shared by Participant, if selected, for any of the purposes mentioned herein without any consideration / compensation for the same.
• IRL shall not be responsible and/or liable for any loss or damage which may be suffered by Participant directly or indirectly due to their participation in this Program.
• IRL reserves its right to amend the terms and conditions as it deems fit including change relevant dates and other detail, complete withdrawal / cancellation / delay / postponement of this Program.
• Participant shall observe these Terms & Conditions and applicable laws while participating in this Program. Any attempt by anybody/Participant to cause any damage to IRL, any website or affect and/or hamper the operation of this Program shall be dealt with strictly by taking appropriate legal action including civil and criminal action.
• This Program is subject to the applicable laws. These rules shall be governed by, subject to, and construed in accordance with the laws of India. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found / held to be in violation of any applicable law then the remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect and IRL shall be entitled to amend the Terms & Conditions in such a manner so as this Program to comply with the said provisions of law as IRL deems fit. Code of conduct on Social Media:
• All questions, commentary and interaction with IRL, including constructive feedback are welcome on Facebook or Twitter. However, Participant must post contents and commentaries that are relevant and respectful to the community as a whole.
• To be specific the following kind of posts will not be tolerated:
  - Abusive, harassing, stalking, threatening or attacking others
  - Defamatory, offensive, obscene, vulgar or depicting violence
  - Hateful in language targeting race/ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality or political beliefs
  - Fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or unlawful
  - Trolling or deliberate disruption of discussion
  - Violations of any intellectual property rights
  - Spamming in nature
  - Uploading files that contain viruses or programs that could damage the operation of other people's computers
  - Commercial solicitation or solicitation of donations
  - Link baiting (embedding a link in your post to draw traffic to your own site)
• IRL reserves its rights to remove any post/submission that does not adhere to the Terms & Conditions as mentioned above and to block anyone who violates them in any way.
• Participant, by participating in this Program, hereby confirms that they would comply with the terms and conditions of the social media platform of the Program, Terms & Conditions of Facebook and Twitter.
• The Program is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
• Participant understands and confirms that he/she is providing information to IRL and not to Facebook (Website).
